Pikes On Bikes 2013
After over 40 hours of biking, the Theta Pi Chapter finished their annual bike ride to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The Pikes left UAH campus at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 22, and battled through 400 miles of rain and coldness while riding several bicycles, rotating riders as needed. They arrived at Pensacola Beach, Florida on Sunday afternoon. This completed their fifth annual Pikes on Bikes: Ride for a Cure charity event. This year's effort raised just over $4,500 for cancer research.
Brother Kyle Curenton recorded video blogs throughout the entire trip so that supporters at home could get a feel of journey. These will be posted upon the completion of his last video.
